Ikirunga cya Nyiragongo ni kimwe muri bitanu byonyine ku Isi bifite ibiyaga by’amazuku (igikoma kiremye ikiyaga gihora gitogota, gituruka ku mabuye yashonze yo mu nda y’Isi), cyavutse guhera mu 1980 ndetse na n’ubu kiracyariho.

Ku wa 22 Gicurasi 2021 cyongeye kuruka nyuma y’aho cyaherukaga kuruka mu 2002. Ubu habarurwa abantu barenga 30 bapfuye kubera iruka ryacyo, ibikorwa remezo bigasenyuka ndetse abaturage bagakwira imishwaro bahunga.

Oya! Imitingito nk’iyi iterwa no gutogota kw’amazuku (magma) mu nda y’ikirunga. Umwuka ushyushye mu nda y’isi uba mwinshi, urutare ruhazengurutse rugasa n’uruturika bigatuma humvikana imitingito mito mito y’uruhererekane.

Ibipimo by’umwuka wo hejuru ya Nyiragongo byafashwe bigaragaza ko nta myuka ituruka mu mazuku ihari. Ibi bivuze ko nta mazuku ari hafi ku buryo ikirunga cyakongera kuruka.

2. Iyi mitingito izahagarara ryari?
